Edo Sushi

9 East Seventeenth Street
(between Fifth Avenue and Broadway)

Was scheduled to meet someone for drinks at Al Vicoletto.

As I was starving and running a bit early, I decided to stop into Edo Sushi, which is located right above Al Vicoletto, for a quick bite.

Edo has a very cute, boite-style layout.

As it was happy hour, they were offering $5 beers. I ordered a Kirin Light.

It went perfectly with their eel avo roll ($6.75)

And their spicy crunch tuna roll ($6.25). I also ordered a piece of their special king salmon sushi ($4).

The fish was fresh, and the service friendly and attentive. They certainly made this single customer feel very comfortable.

At the end of the meal, they served a complimentary slice of seedless watermelon. Sweet and refreshing!

Pros:
Friendly service.
Yummy rolls.
Great option if you’re dining alone.

Cons:
Wish they offered a prix fixe dinner special.

Final Thoughts
Will definitely return to try some of their special rolls.
